Mobile Coach was thrilled to attend three Learning and Development events in February. Our busy February began with ATD TechKnowledge in West Palm Beach. After that came plane flights to Learning Technologies in London. Once our team recovered from the jet lag it was off to the Training Magazine Conference in Orlando. It is always a great experience to collaborate with L&D professionals. Mobile Coach founder and CEO Vincent Han spoke at both ATD TechKnowledge and Training Magazine’s 2019 Conference and Expo. For our team, it is exciting to share the new features that the Mobile Coach platform offers for chatbots in learning and development.
Mobile Coach was thrilled to be able to discuss industry trends with other exhibitors and attendees, as well as attend multiple sessions held during the conferences. From all of our interactions, we noticed three themes:
- The partnership of artificial intelligence and chatbots is proving to be more and more effective in advancing employee performance.
- As corporate learners become progressively busier, mobile microlearning is at the forefront of industry radar.
- Gamification helps brands to drive user-engagement, drive sales, and boost team productivity.
Many of these trends are beginning to shape the learning and training industry and seem to be here to stay.
Mobile Coach CEO Vince Han gave an insightful session titled “Best Practices for Designing a Chatbot in Support of Learning,” including both interactive chatbot experiences and design tips based off of use cases submitted by conference attendees. Vince received positive feedback, including one attendee who wrote, “Most value added session I’ve attended thus far in the conference. Thank you!”

Our first time attending this conference was a huge success. The size of the conference was impressive. One highlight was taking a celebratory photo with our wonderful partner, Lever Learning in Australia. Lever Learning has designed an innovative “Learning Break” chatbot for learning transfer named Coach M and ran a pilot with Bayer. This work had outstanding results and was recognized with the Silver Award for Mobile Technology by Learning Technologies. Learn more by following the link below.

A week of learning, sharing, and connecting. Training Magazine held its annual Training Conference from February 25-26 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando. While it felt like a vacation at times spending the week in Orlando, we certainly gained new insights and valuable connections during our 4th year exhibiting. Vince Han spoke to another full audience for his chatbot design session and Paul Bills of Mobile Coach spent time in the Technology Test Kitchen answering questions and demonstrating the powerful potential of chatbots in learning.
